The Division of Human Anatomy and Structural Biology
Within the Department of Radiology the Division of Anatomy and Structural
Biology administers Gross and Microscopic Anatomy courses for the College
of Osteopathic Medicine and the College of Human Medicine. Additionally, the
Division of Anatomy and Structural Biology presents undergraduate lecture
and laboratory courses in human gross anatomy, various specialized anatomy
courses to surgical residency training programs located in the State of Michigan,
and professional post-graduate programs in other colleges at Michigan State
University. Research activities include a number of diverse subjects such
as the functional anatomy of
repetitive stress injuries revealed by sophisticated imaging techniques and
comparative studies of mammalian nervous systems.
