Gillian Bice, Ph.D. received
her undergraduate degree in zoology and her M.A. in physical anthropology from
Michigan State University, and is currently completing her Ph.D. in physical
anthropology. Prior to joining the Department of Radiology as an anatomy instructor,
she was laboratory manager for the MSU Cytogenetics Laboratory, where she worked
for 12 years. Since 1995 she has participated in the Medical Gross Anatomy program
as a laboratory teaching assistant and assistant to the lab coordinator. Current
responsibilities include lab coordination and instruction for ANTR 551 Medical
Gross Anatomy and lecturing in ANTR 350, an undergraduate course in systems
anatomy. Specialties and research interests include skeletal biology, forensic
anthropology, and human skeletal variation.
