The Division of Human Anatomy and Structural Biology
Wendy Lackey, M.A. received her undergraduate degree in anthropology at University California San Diego in 1992. She received her M.A. in physical anthropology from Michigan State University in 2000, and is currently completing her Ph.D. in physical anthropology. Prior to joining the Department of Radiology as an anatomy instructor in 2002, she taught anatomy at Lansing Community College. She has also coordinated and taught the anatomy portion of the Summer Institute for the Advanced Baccalaureate Learning Experience (ABLE) Program since 1997. In addition, she has participated in the Medical Gross Anatomy program as a laboratory teaching assistant. Her current responsibilities include coordination and instruction for ANTR 485, Directed Study in Human Prosection and laboratory instruction for PSL 534 &535. In addition, she lectures in ANTR 350, an undergraduate course in systems anatomy, during the Fall semester. Her specialties and research interests include skeletal biology, forensic anthropology, and skeletal histomorphology.
