Supine abdomen: Multiple slightly prominent small bowel loops. Possible slight bone demineralization.

 

This is an ultrasound in a young pregnant patient with acute colicky pain and mild jaundice. Afebrile and normal white count. There are multiple small echogenic calculi in the gallbladder. There is also a small calculus in the distal common bile duct, which is dilated. The calculus passes spontaneously.

Acute cholecystis. Patient had epigastric pain and an elevated white count. There is a single gallstone, with shadowing. There is also gallbladder wall thickening and pericholecystic fluid

Spot film demonstrates classic calcifications in the pancreas (note also contrast in renal system from IVU)
