Scheduling Appointments:
Our physicians see patients by appointments only. Our offices are open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, with each physician offering office hours on different days of the week. To schedule an appointment or to learn more about the services we provide, please call 517-364-8028. Our phones are on at 8:00am-12:00noon and then from 1:00pm-5:00pm.
Canceling Appointments:
Your appointment time is very important to us and we will give you our undivided attention. We request your cooperation by being on time for your appointments and by having all appropriate forms, authorizations, identification, insurance information and x-rays that may be necessary for your visit with us.
If you must cancel your appointment, we request 24 hours notice so that we may give your appointment time to another patient.
Surgery Scheduling:
MSU SportsMEDICINE has three excellent orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Douglas Dietzel D.O., Dr. Andrew Schorfhaar D.O. and Dr. Michael Shingles, D.O. They specialize in sports related injuries. Once you and your physician have decided that surgery is the best treatment option, for your convenience you can schedule your surgical appointment at our office or over the telephone. Our Orthopedic Surgeons are affiliated with Sparrow Health System St. Lawrence Campus, Ingham Regional Medical Center, and Michigan Surgical Center.
To inquire about insurance participation, surgery benefits, co-pays and deductibles, please contact your insurance carrier. For other insurance questions our billing staff would be glad to serve you.
